During Science class, our 7th grade students completed the “Paleontologist for a Day” activity to introduce Unit 1: Evidence of Common Ancestry. They observed, described, compared, and classified different fossil samples while applying important science process skills such as observation, evidence analysis, and drawing conclusions. At the same time, they strengthened IB skills including critical thinking, research, communication, collaboration, and self-management. A great way to begin the unit by learning science through hands-on investigation! 🔬🧠🤝🌍
